A fine mahogany William IV period Gallery Glass of large scale.

The turned shaped handle attached with brass mounts, brass ring for hanging. The visual depiction of this particular cut lens is truly astonishing. Beautifully made with greatest care and attention in every detail. Good grip and great size.

Size: 50 cm long, 26 cm diameter.

These magnificent magnifying glasses were made to enable collectors, dealers and connoisseurs to view pictures and objects in detail from a distance.
