Seventy one different wood samples all with labels with title and country of origin. Among them different sorts of mahogany, oak, ebony, beech, satin, purpleheart, greenheart and other precious samples.
The Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van fijnhouthandel & Stoomzagerij was a company who had their factory in Amsterdam West and was founded in 1899.
The box and its content used as a sample case to show the quality of the different woods this company could acquire.
